Angelos Georgoussis has significant experience in tax law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations, immovable property transactions and real estate development, banking law, stock exchange and investment services.

Angelos advises major corporate clients, banks and financial institutions, investment firms, venture capitals and real estate developers. He has assisted a large number of international clients including Abbott Laboratories, Ansaldo Energia, Atlantica Hotels, Carrefour, C.R. Bard, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Invenergy, Schindler and Sonae-Sierra.

Angelos has been listed as a Recommended Lawyer in ‘Legal 500’ Europe, Middle East & Africa 2014, Tax. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, he gained valuable experience working in the legal department of Alpha Bank and Shell Company Hellas and in private practice.

Angelos has been a member of the Athens Bar since 1984. He obtained his law degree from the Law School of the University of Athens and a master’s degree (M.Sc.) from Wye College, University of London, in Economics.
