Anna Sidiropoulou is highly regarded for her litigation and dispute resolution skills with a particular emphasis on shipping, banking, civil and corporate law disputes as well as enforcement proceedings and judicial and extrajudicial settlements.

Anna has acted for a wide range of international and local clients on cross border transactions and has extensive experience in negotiating, drafting and reviewing various types of contracts in respect of banking, corporate, shipping, finance and real estate matters.

Anna’s practice also includes the provision of extensive advisory services to foreign clients as well as contentious and non-contentious work related to bankruptcy & insolvency matters, public procurements, tenders and insurance law matters.

Anna joined the firm in 2009. Prior to joining us, she worked for eight years at Norton Rose LLP with particular focus on corporate and shipping finance transactions as well as cross border and local litigation and advisory work in civil, procedural and corporate law, real estate transactions, public procurements and tenders and extensive legal due diligence related to corporate projects. Anna also had the opportunity to work as a lawyer in two boutique law firms in Athens where she practiced as a litigator in both civil (corporate, commercial and banking) and administrative law disputes.

Anna qualified as a lawyer in 1993 and since then has been a member of the Athens Bar. She obtained her law degree from the Faculty of Law School of the University of Athens, worked as a trainee with a law office in Athens and also completed a course as a trainee in administrative law with the Greek Council of the State (Supreme Administrative Court of Greece).
