Dimitris Psicharis has expertise in marine, civil and commercial litigation, enforcement and a broad range of commercial law, civil law and labour law matters.

Dimitris advises major Greek and international shipping companies on both dry and wet shipping law matters, including litigation and dispute resolution. He also advises major companies on matters arising under marine insurance law.

Dimitris has extensive experience in litigation before the Greek courts. His main area of expertise is maritime law, but is also very well–versed in all aspects of Greek civil law and procedure.

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Dimitris worked for M. Dalakos - I. Fassolis - N. Theofanopoulos Law Firm in Piraeus and trained with. Scorinis Law Offices in Piraeus. He also gained valuable experience during his internships at Holman Fenwick Willan LLP in London and Hannover Reinsurance Co. in Hannover.

Dimitris has been a member of the Athens Bar since 2004. He obtained his law degree (LLB) from Leeds Metropolitan University. Dimitris also holds a master’s degree in Maritime Law (LLM) from the University College London.
